About Us
Our Story
We are an independent Baptist Church located in Kaufman County, just 25 minutes from downtown Dallas. Rooted in the timeless truth of God’s Word, our church was founded with a desire to preach and teach the Bible faithfully, reaching our community and beyond with the life-changing message of the Gospel.
We believe that the King James Bible is the inspired and preserved Word of God, and it stands as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Our desire is to glorify Christ, edify believers, and proclaim the Gospel with conviction and compassion.
What We Believe
As a Bible-believing independent Baptist church, we are committed to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith as taught in the Word of God. Below is a summary of our core beliefs:
The Bible – The Inspired and Final Authority for Faith and Life
We believe the King James Bible is the verbally inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is preserved for English-speaking people and serves as our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living.
The Nature of God – One True God in Three Persons
We believe in one living and true God, who is eternal and self-existent, revealed in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory, yet one in essence and purpose.
Jesus Christ – The Eternal Son, Savior, and Returning King
We affirm the full deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death through the shedding of His blood, bodily resurrection, and His personal, premillennial, and imminent return for His church and future reign.
Salvation – God's Free Gift by Grace Through Faith
All mankind is sinful and separated from God. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone, and not of works. It is the free and unearned gift of God, received personally through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Eternal Life – The Reality of Heaven and Hell
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will be raised unto everlasting life in Heaven, while the lost will be raised unto eternal, conscious punishment in a literal Hell.
The Local Church – God's Institution for Worship and Gospel Mission
We believe a New Testament church is a local assembly of born-again, baptized believers, joined together to fulfill Christ’s commission. The church observes the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, meets for worship, teaching, fellowship, and prayer, and is called to actively engage in the spread of the Gospel to all nations.
Biblical Separation – A Life Set Apart for God’s Glory
We believe that Christians are called to a life of separation from the world, sin, and Satan, and to live in holiness, devotion, and obedience to God. This includes personal purity, doctrinal faithfulness, and active commitment to the cause of Christ.
